Beginner Option:
You can make this quilt scrappy using 3 focus colors in your fabric selection. This quilt looks great in many 3 color combinations, as you can see in the images above!
Fabric Requirements:
● 3 yards of white
● 3 yards of blue
● 3 yards of red,
or colors/fabrics of your choice.
ADVANCED Option:
You can use 5 fabrics/colors to make this gorgeous quilt!
Fabric A - 2.25 yards
Fabric B - 2 yards
Fabric C - 2 yards
Fabric D- 1.5 yards
Fabric E - 2 yards

2019 BOM Beginner Quilt Class
Here's our 2019 BOM quilt we designed for beginners - WOW! We've come a long way! What do you think? Bailey (my 5 year old) loves it and has claimed it...so sometimes I get to see it. Oh my...I think I have a quilter on my hand! YES!!!! Parent win!!!
Did you happen to see that amazing Churndash quilt above in the graphics? HOLY MOLY! That was fun! It's a super simple quilt that took about 2.5 hours from cutting to sewing to finish the quilt top! It is super simple!

I love being a VIP. It’s a gift I give to myself each month. Not only do I receive beautiful fabrics to help build my stash, but matching thread to go with it. And there is always a fun surprise each month – a new tool, notion, pattern.
I love being a VIP! The fabric is top quality, and always passes the touch test (it’s so soft!). The surprise is often worth more than $15. Fabric therapy is my favorite time of the week (and I even try to join in when on vacation 😀).
Then there’s the thread. We’re laughing that we’re becoming thread snobs, because it’s so amazing to sew with. I purchased thread racks so I can have it close to hand.
I’ve also really enjoyed Club Bailey, and getting awesome patterns to try out every 3 months.
If anyone is wondering if it is worth it to join, I promise you that it is!
I enjoy the vip bundles every time I get them. It’s a great way to collect fabric and colors I might not have. I now have fabrics I can go to when I need a small amount to fill in a project.
I found Sew Much Charm from last year’s Quilting Summit and joined the VIP group shortly after. I live all the fabrics Sarah chooses… They’re always high quality and coordinate beautifully! And the surprise is always a good one!
I love being a VIP Club member too Maryanne. It’s like Mother’s Day, Birthday and Christmas every month. I also am a member of the MultiMax Thread Club. I love Efina thread by Wonderfil for my quilting. I may go ahead and join Club Bailey so I’ll have plenty of patterns to browse. I just don’t think you can have to much material or notions, etc. My husband finally gave in when I pointed to all his stuff in the garage, shed and toolbox in the bed if his truck. I thought he was retired. Lol
I love it! May will be the next Club Bailey – so definitely sign up soon!
