Can you believe it is November already?
I can’t. Seriously…who knows the countdown for Christmas? It’s soon. Very soon.
November brings a time where we pause and remember the things we are thankful & grateful for. A lot of us have been doing it year round with the pandemic, but there is something about falling leaves that really makes me stop and ponder.
We have a lot to be thankful for…a lot. I’m very thankful for our custom quilt clients, online shop customers, blog readers, & Beginner Quilting group members…and our AH-MAZING VIP Quilting Club™ members!
We’ve had an AWESOME first year with our online shop & with the launch of our VIP Quilting Club! We pondered and pondered and we’ve decided to do a fabulous Black Friday Sale for our shop. It’s our first, so let’s do one for the history books!
We are coming to an end of our first year with an online shop! We want to celebrate and we want to start our first Black Friday Sale EARLY! Starting now – until November 30, 2020 – you can take 20% off your online purchase** of regularly priced items on our site!
Check the website DAILY as new fabrics will be added often!
USE COUPON CODE: FRIDAY20
**In stock only & does not apply to sale items or combined with other coupons – Online Only. Not valid on Facebook Live Sales.
What else is new with the Sew Much Charm Shop? We now have E-GIFT CARDS! You can email them directly to the lucky recipient!
Have a special request? Email us! We will do our best to accommodate those requests!
What else is amazing about November? It’s time for the 11th Annual Tom Brown Memorial Charity Quilt Show hosted by the Knights of Columbus and two local quilt guilds! This wonderful quilt show will be in Hempstead, Texas & will be this upcoming weekend on November 14th.
It’s a one day show – filled with quilts & vendors! It’s also a FREE quilt show! Free admission & Free Parking! Don’t let this small town quilt show be one event you shy away from! It’s amazing. Silent Auction ends at 5pm. There is a chicken fried steak dinner starting at 5pm and a live auction starting at 6pm.
Last year, this quilt show alone raised over $25,000 in ONE DAY for local charities in and around Waller County. This is an amazing event to get behind and truly support. If you would like to make a monetary donation or have something to contribute to the live or silent auctions, please contact Jack Gibbs via 713-816-1923.
With setting up the quilt show this week – we won’t have our regular Fabric Therapy session – but you can shop online on our website!
We will return on November 17th for our next Live Sale!
Stay tuned for our next FREE Block of the Month that will be shared in our Facebook Group – Beginner Quilting! We’re a bit late posting November’s due to the last minute details for the KC Charity Quilt Show – so we plan on sharing a bonus block next week to make up for the time delay for our members! If you haven’t joined our FB group, please request to join. We are having fun & enjoying all things quilting!
What’s our latest quilt project?
Bailey moved into her big girl bed this year and she needs a big girl quilt. She has requested RAINBOW! I asked her how would she like it quilted and she said with unicorns & mermaids. She is 3. Keep your fingers crossed & keep me in your prayers for a successful quilt. I’m hoping to have it done in time for Christmas.
I found this gorgeous center panel that was hand dyed by a friend of mine. I knew it was perfect for her. I’m currently working on adding borders to build out the size. Here is the first border to build out the height – Flying Geese. I’m working on the next design now.
Jameson saw Bailey’s quilt in progress and she has now requested a big girl quilt too. I see lots of late nights in my future.
