Summer Sewing News!

I’m literally sitting at a splash pad typing this post out because I’m so excited to share this info!  School is officially out and it’s time to enjoy summer!!
A huge thanks to everyone participating in the current giveaway!  A winner will be announced once we hit 15,000 views!  If you’ve entered, share the page with friends and family and boost those views!

Another huge thanks to Glass House Patterns!  I just found them on Instagram and found one of their latest posts very motivational!  I’m following them now and I recommend you do too!  Here is the latest one that I just love:

One issue I have is where to put new fabric…So this should help remedy a space for a few more purchases! What are my projects?  Oh I’ve got an idea and will post more about those…but here’s a sneak peak at the fabrics!

Planning on a Watermelon Quilt for the Watermelon Festival

Project still TBA

Combination of Tana Mueller’s Cotton fabric line & another…Adding a panel to make a great cotton themed quilt!

Gorgeous, aren’t they? I don’t buy ugly fabric!
Although, I’ve been told…”If you think it’s ugly or just don’t like it, cut it up smaller until you do!”  This trick works!!  I’ve been gifted some bizarre to me fabric before and thought “What the heck?!”  Well, I’m here to tell you that cutting it up works!!
The third piece of summer awesomeness I want to share is that at the end of the summer…I will doing a collaboration with an awesome photographer friend!  We are in the works of some pretty awesome and creative stuff!!  This will be announced near the end of the summer…but this is happening!!  👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

So how about it?  Will you join me in the #UseNine2019 Challenge?

Happy Quilting!
